Is there a way to save to older photoshop formats? Am I just that blind?

Dustin,

No, you’re not blind; you’re just looking for something that just isn’t there because it’s not needed. 🙂

Just save. Photoshop files are backwards compatible all the way to version 3.

The only exceptions are certain Photoshop 8 (CS) files that can’t be opened in Photoshop 6 because of a bug in that version (6).

Of course, the above is limited to files under 2GB because previous versions can’t handle files that large, and you won’t have features added in later versions when opened in earlier versions that did not have those features (for instance there were no layers in version 3).
