Cropping Shrinks Pic To Almost Nothing

I’ve been using Photoshop to rotate and crop scans for quite some time now. To be honest, that’s the only thing I can really do. Needless to say I’ve got it down to a science. Everything was working normally until all of a sudden now when I crop something the pic gets shrunk so small its almost invisible. Also, the actual photoshop window itself is shrunk down to the size of a fingernail. Does anyone have a clue how to fix this? FYI, I am running CS4 on an iMac 2.66ghz w/ 4GB of RAM. Thanks so much

check your crop tool settings. Reset if necessary.

Dick,

To clear it up… you should make sure before Cropping that the Resolution field on the Options Bar is empty. If it isn’t, hit the Clear button. I suspect you had a number in there, like 1.

Yes you are probably using the 1st released version of CS3, it needs an update.
