I’m working with another designer who is silhouetting images for use in InDesign using paths and clipping path. He’s doing them all exactly the same, however some import as an inverted image…the background shows and the person is knocked out.
I have checked the path in his image and although they are all identical, the ones that place inverted are also inverted on the icon for the path. (portion silhouetted is grey, background white) In the images that work properly the silhouette is white and the background is grey.
This doesn’t make any sense because the path is around the part of the image that is supposed to be visible in BOTH situations.
Is there some setting I’m not aware of that could be causing this?
Thanks,
Carole
