hallo
my printer (epson sx510w) prints the black color too dark (this gives problems, the first is ink consuming)
the settings (=quality of print) available from the software control panel don’t solve the problem (or too bright or too dark)
and
the settings on the machine are related to the ‘copy’ and ‘scanning’ functions only.
I was wondering if
changing
or
replacing
or
opening and modifying
the so called "color profile files"
could be a solution…
But, in what folder are these files?
What are their names and extensions?
Where to find on the web their substitutes?
In the case of opening and modifying, how could it be done? (with modyifing I mean in example replacing the RGB ‘black’ with a ‘dark grey’)
Other ideas?
