When I save an image as JPG or GIF it seems fine, but when I pull it into another program it is purple! No matter what I do to save it the colors are always purple. If I open it back up on PS it is fine. It is only when opening it when in other programs. Please help! Thanks in advance!

Austin,

1) Calibarate your monitor with Adobe Gamma.

2) Set your RGB working space in Photoshop to sRGB

1) If you’re running Windows, you’ll find Adobe Gamma in the Control Panel. It uses a wizard to guide you through the calibration.

2) Go to the Edit menu, and select "Color Settings" – you’ll get a dialog box, and there will be a drop down to select your RGB working space from a number of choices.

More information on these two items can be found in the manual, and in the help file.
