I recently upgraded to CS, but version 7.0 is still around and appears to be separately installed?? Is this normal, or do i need to remove the older version?

Yes, it’s normal. You might just want to leave 7.0 installed until you’re sure of CS.

Are there any known gotchas or caveats when uninstalling 7.01 after installing CS?

Is that really YOU???? – Talk about long time no hear!

How’s life been treating you? (and Yes, I’m still looking for a 20 year-old prostate! <g>)

Hi Len.

Yep. ‘Tis I. Deb and I are just fine. We moved to San Francisco in ’98, and have been very happy here. I’ve been with a national land conservation non-profit org. all of that time, as computer systems manager. (www.tpl.org)

I finally got around to working on creating my 2 daughters’ Bat Mitzvah albums (only taken 12 years), and have been scanning the original 6 x 4.5 VPS negatives, and retouching and compositing in PShop. I’ve been sending the files to Ofoto for prints….

Love the ‘healing’ brush. Where was it years ago when I had the photo restoration business? Just upgraded to CS.

Forums seem pretty much the same as they did on CompuServe all those years ago….

The Noise to signal ratio is somewhat higher! <g>

OTOH, we’ve a good bunch of ‘regulars’ here (that only need sparing and occasional use of the hose pipe!)

Pleased to hear you and yours are doing well….

Quite! Our work is now is largely web development. The Photography side of the business has contracted greatly. One advantage being that maintenance contracts at least give a guarantee of regular monthly income and I’ve always loved coding….

Our site is at http://www.cdds.co.uk/new/ – you’ll find our e-mail on the "The Company" page if you want to get in touch via e-mail

Any idea of the Wiz is doing? Are you still in contact?

All the best for Hanukkah
