Could someone please help me and explain in normal English what this message exactly means, it comes every once in a while I start up Photoshop CSIt’s not really a problem. The message is telling you that it would be better performance-wise to set your Scratch Disk to a different partition or hard drive on your computer. If you have such, you can do this in Edit>Preferences (at least that’s where it is in 7). If you don’t have your drive partitioned and/or don’t have additional hard drives you can ignore it. After a while the message should appear less frequently.
"You currently have Adobe Photoshop’s primary Scratch and Windows’ primary paging file on the same volume, which can result in reduced performance. it is recommended that you set adobe photoshop’s primary scratch on a different volume preferable on a different physical drive."
what’s the problem??!!
