Hi. I have a CS update for Photoshop 7. I can’t find the 7 CD anywhere so far, although I have the update disk, and I have both programs on my computer. I am also about to switch to a new computer. Can I just copy photoshop 7 to the new computer and hope the CS updater will find it, or is there something else that needs to be done (I really don’t want to do anything with system registry if I can avoid it)? Both systems will be running XP Pro. Thanks. Jason

No, you can’t "just copy" Photoshop. Installation is far more involved than that.

You should be more careful, but you probably already know that. If you registered your earlier version of Photoshop then call Adobe Customer Support and tell them what happened. They’ll be able to help you.
