I’m using photoshop 6.0 and i have this photo i want to turn red. I want it to look like a black and white photo, just red. I hope this makes sense! I’m not sure if I need to add a layer, and if i do can i make it transparent? I’m realy lost here!

thanks!

Lisa,

You’re new so take this as a helpful hint. Pretend that we can’t see your computer and don’t know what you mean. Use as much language as you can in describing the situation. Not directed at you per se, just a friendly tip. Lazy questions beget lazy answers.

Having said that, it sounds like you may want to colorize your image.

Make sure the image is in RGB Mode (Image|Mode). As an experiment, set your foreground and background colors to their default. Now use the menu items Image|Adjustments|Hue and Saturation. When the dialog pops up, click on the little "colorize" check box. Play with Hue.

Peace,
Tony

Glad you got it sorted.
